NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE PULLS FLOOD WATCH FOR REGION

Tuesday mid-morning the National Weather Service in Medford pulled the Flood Watch which had been in place for a wide area of southern Oregon.

Forecasters told News Radio 93-9 FM and 1240 KQEN that it appears the heaviest rain of the current storm system is over. Forecasters said just light amounts of rain are expected through mid-morning on Wednesday, when a few days of mainly dry weather begins.

The Flood Watch had originally been in effect through Wednesday evening.
