One person was taken to the hospital after a two-vehicle wreck on Interstate Five on Saturday night.

An Oregon State Police report said just after 7:00 p.m. a pickup sideswiped a semi-truck on Interstate Five northbound near the Rice Hill area. The driver of the pickup lost control of his vehicle, and it eventually came to rest on the shoulder of the roadway. One passenger was injured and was transported to CHI Mercy Medical Center for treatment. The pickup was towed from the scene.
