The Umpqua Valley had a near record rainfall for the date on Monday.

Data from the National Weather Service in Medford said the Roseburg Regional Airport received 0.80 inches of rain on Monday. The record for February 23rd is 0.93 inches, set in 2025. The normal amount for the date is 0.13 inches. Forecasters told News Radio 93-9 FM and 1240 KQEN that the airport received an additional 0.68 inches of rain between 12:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. on Tuesday. That is nearly 1.5 inches since Monday morning. Rain should stick around through mid-morning on Wednesday.
