Roseburg Police jailed a man for a reported DUII incident on Saturday afternoon.

An RPD report said just after 4:10 p.m. officers pulled 22-year-old Skyler Pederson over for a traffic violation after he was called in for drinking and driving in the 100 block of Sunshine Road. A one-year-old child was also in the vehicle when the man was contacted. Pederson consented to standard field sobriety tests and allegedly performed poorly. He admitted to drinking, using a pharmaceutical medication and using inhalants.

Pederson was taken into custody without incident and transported to corrections. His vehicle was left with a sober driver per his request. He was charged with driving under the influence of intoxicants, reckless driving and recklessly endangering another person. Bail was set at $22,500. Pederson was cited for unlawful possession of inhalants and failure to obey a traffic control device.
