Roseburg Police jailed a woman for an alleged menacing incident on Saturday morning.

An RPD report said at 8:00 a.m. officers contacted the 52-year-old after a victim claimed the suspect had threatened to cut his genitals. The incident was in the 100 block of Northpark Avenue.

Officers found that the woman had a machete in her vehicle, matching the one the victim described. She was charged with criminal mischief in the second-degree and menacing. Bail was set at $7,500.
