Roseburg Police cited a man for prohibited camping on Thursday evening.

An RPD report said at 6:10 p.m. officers contacted the 42-year-old in a prohibited camping area near the intersection of Northeast Stephens Street and Northeast Diamond Lake Boulevard. The man also had two tents set up violating both the manner and place portions of the city ordinance for camping. He had four prior convictions for prohibited camping.

The man was released after the citation was issued.
