A three-vehicle crash sent one person to the hospital on Thursday morning.

A Roseburg Police report said at approximately 9:45 a.m. officers responded to the wreck near the intersection of Northwest Mountain View Drive and Northwest Dogwood Street. After an investigation, it was determined that an 83-year-old woman had swerved her vehicle to miss an animal that had darted out in front of it. That resulted in her vehicle crashing into two other vehicles that were parked nearby

The woman was transported to CHI Mercy Medical Center for a hand injury. Her vehicle was parked at the location and later towed by a friend.
