MORE TYPICAL WEATHER RETURNING TO THE UMPQUA VALLEY

More typical weather for this time of year is returning to the Umpqua Valley starting this weekend.

Forecasters at the National Weather Service in Medford told News Radio 93-9 FM and 1240 KQEN that means higher snow levels with wind picking up on Saturday. Rain is slated to return to the area late Saturday and increase on Sunday with up to one inch of moisture expected.

Forecasters said rain is likely for much of next week. Highs will be in the 50’s beginning on Saturday with lows from the upper 30’s to mid-40’s.

The high temperature at the Roseburg Regional Airport on Thursday was 45 degrees. 0.15 inches of rain was recorded.
