Roseburg Police cited a man for drinking in public late Wednesday night.

An RPD report said shortly after 11:55 p.m. officers saw the 33-year-old walking down the road in the 100 block of Northeast Garden Valley Boulevard with two cans of beer in his hands.

Upon contact, officers discovered the contents of the cans were already half gone. The man admitted to drinking the beer. He was released after the citation was issued.
