Roseburg Police cited two people for prohibited camping early Wednesday morning.

An RPD report said shortly after 2:00 a.m. officers contacted a 32-year-old woman inside a tent on the front steps of the Roseburg Public Library in the 1400 block of Northeast Diamond Lake Boulevard. Upon contact, the woman said that she was watching for the camp for a man. That person returned and informed officers that the camp was in fact his.

Both were cited for violating the location portion of city camping ordinance. They were each issued their first city exclusion warnings. Both were released after the citations were issued.
