Roseburg Police jailed a man for a restraining order violation on Tuesday evening.

An RPD report said at 6:25 p.m. officers received information that the 58-year-old was violating his restraining order. Officers confirmed the order and contacted him at the residence of a protected person in the 2700 block of Southeast Starmer Street. He was taken into custody and transported to corrections. Bail was set at $850.
