Roseburg Police jailed a man for a warrant on Tuesday morning.

An RPD report said at 10:35 a.m. officers recognized the 35-year-old man getting into a vehicle, ran him for warrants, and learned he had a warrant for his arrest. Officers watched the vehicle leave and again recognized the suspect in the passenger seat.

Officers initiated a traffic stop at the intersection of Northeast Winchester Street and Northeast Rowe Street and detained the man. Dispatch confirmed the warrant and the man was placed under arrest without incident. Bail was set at $5,000.
