ROSEBURG POLICE JAIL MAN FOR ALLEGED CRIMINAL MISCHIEF INCIDENT

Roseburg Police jailed a man for an alleged criminal mischief incident on Monday night.

An RPD report said at 8:45 p.m. officers responded to a store in the 2100 block of Northwest Stewart Parkway after a caller said there was a disturbance. Upon arrival, officers found the 47-year-old suspect in the roadway near the business, where he was obstructing traffic. During the investigation, the suspect admitted to breaking a lamp that was attached to the store. He was taken into custody without incident and transported to corrections. The man was charged with second-degree counts of criminal mischief and disorderly conduct. Bail was set at $5,000.
