SUTHERLIN POLICE JAIL MAN FOLLOWING ALLEGED TRESPASSING INCIDENTS

Sutherlin Police jailed a man following alleged trespass incidents on Monday night.

An SPD report said just after 9:00 p.m. officers responded to the 500 block of South State Street regarding a 35-year-old man allegedly trespassing on their property. The man left prior to police arriving. While officers checked the area, another resident called to report a suspicious man on their property asking for a cigarette. Officers located the man and identified him as the same suspect.

He was taken into custody and transported to corrections. That man was charged with second-degree criminal trespass and for a parole violation. Bail was set at $1,250.
