Roseburg Police jailed a man for a parole violation on Tuesday morning.

An RPD report said at 11:40 a.m. officers contacted the 36-year-old in the 600 block of West Madrone Street, knowing that he was wanted for absconding. A detainer was issued and the man was taken into custody without incident. The man was detained without bail and was released later in the day.
