In the KQEN Cultural Spotlight:

The winery at Umpqua Community College is hosting a For the Love of Wine event on February 13th and 14th from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Festivities will include barrel tours, glass painting, and case discounts in the tasting room.

Barrel tours will be offered both days for groups of 8 to 12 people, providing an intimate tour of the UCC wine facility. Attendees will take tastings from the barrels, pair wine with food in the wine library, and experience more varieties of wine in the tasting room. Oakland Creek Vineyards will be the special guest and will offer some of their latest releases. The cost is $10 per person with the fee waived with a bottle purchase.

On February 14th glass decorating will be offered in the tasting room from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. UCC Art Department instructor Johnathan Hoffman will host a tutorial and offer tips on how to take creations to the next level. Cost is $5 per glass with materials provided.

Throughout the event, visitors can take advantage of exclusive case discounts with savings of up to $200 on select purchases.
