Roseburg Police jailed a man for a parole violation on Thursday evening.

An RPD report said at 9:15 p.m. officers responded to a disturbance in the 1200 block of Southeast Stephens Street. The 41-year-old man was contacted and found to be extremely intoxicated. He was on parole with a clause prohibiting the use of intoxicating substances. His parole officer was contacted and they requested a detainer. The man was held without bail.
