Roseburg Police charged a man with fourth-degree assault on Tuesday.

An RPD report said at 12:00 p.m. a victim approached the man to confront him about his camp in the 600 block of Southeast Rose Street. The 27-year-old suspect allegedly punched the victim in the nose, knocking him on his back. The suspect was found about two hours later and was taken into custody after a brief struggle. Bail was set at $6,250.
