Myrtle Creek Police charged a woman following an alleged assault incident on Saturday night.

An MCPD report said at 11:10 p.m. following an investigation into an alleged disturbance at a home in the 200 block of Southeast Elizabeth Court, the 46-year-old was detained for second-degree assault and unlawful use of a weapon. She was detained without bail.

No further information was released by MCPD.
