The Winston City Council meeting scheduled for Monday night has been canceled due to a lack of agenda items however the scheduled workshop will still take place.

City Manager Thomas McIntosh said at 6:00 p.m. the council will be looking at the last five budget cycles and discussing the budgetary patterns that may help assist them in decision making for the next fiscal cycle. McIntosh said in addition, the workshop will be a good refresher course for the council, just prior to moving into the budgeting process.

Chief of Police Brandon Sarti and Public Works Superintendent Andy Howell will assist McIntosh in leading the workshop.

The meeting will be held in the council chambers on Northwest Douglas Boulevard.
