The SMART Reading program has volunteer opportunities in the Umpqua Valley.

In the midst of its 34th year, SMART is seeking people to read with local students weekly during the current school year.

A site coordinator is needed for the Glide UCAN Preschool Promise program. A reader is needed for that program as well. A reader is also being sought for the South Umpqua UCAN Head Start program.
