Roseburg Police cited a man for unlawful possession of methamphetamine on Wednesday afternoon.

An RPD report said just after 4:00 p.m. the 40-year-old was contacted by officers in the 500 block of Northeast Nash Street. An officer reportedly observed the man smoking methamphetamine from a pipe. The man was detained and admitted to smoking the drug. During a search, officers allegedly found 0.8 grams of meth. The man was released after the citation was issued.
