Roseburg Police jailed a man for littering on Tuesday.

An RPD report said at 8:00 a.m. officers contacted the 57-year-old at Deer Creek Park in the 200 block of Southeast Pine Street because he was camping in a restricted area and in a restricted manner. His camp had trash spread in every direction.

The man was charged with littering in or near waters and a criminal count of prohibited camping. He was cited for having a prohibited weapon in a city park. The man was detained on $2,500 bail.
