Roseburg Police jailed a man for a warrant on Tuesday morning.

An RPD report said at approximately 7:40 a.m. officers contacted the 33-year-old after he was called in for trespassing in the 2500 block of Northwest Stewart Parkway. Officers knew the man had the warrant and attempted to take the man into custody.

He reportedly resisted arrest and showed signs of methamphetamine use. His warrant was confirmed and he was transported to corrections. The man was detained on $5,000 bail.
