A Glendale woman was cited for hit and run following an alleged incident on Monday afternoon.

A Douglas County Sheriff’s Office report released on Tuesday said just after 12:35 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to a crash in the 400 block of Montgomery Avenue in Glendale. A driver was in a pickup when it started to roll back. The vehicle went through a fence, causing property damage. The driver reportedly left the scene after a witness called police.

The victim advised that he wanted to pursue charges due to the damage to his fence. A towing company responded to the crash scene and took possession of the vehicle. A deputy contacted the driver at a residence on Section Creek Road and issued the citation.
