Roseburg Police cited a man for prohibited burning early Tuesday morning.

An RPD report said just after 12:50 a.m. the 44-year-old was spotted burning a pile of trash on the sidewalk next to a store in the 1000 block of Northwest of Garden Valley Boulevard. He was released after the citation was issued.
