Roseburg Police jailed a Canyonville man for a parole violation on Monday.

An RPD report said at 10:25 a.m. while conducting a security check at a business in the 700 block of Northwest Garden Valley Boulevard, an officer contacted the 41-year-old who was wanted by his parole officer. The PO authorized a detainer and the man was taken into custody and transported to corrections. He was detained without bail and was released later on Monday.
