An Aumsville man was jailed following a DUII crash on Saturday.

An Oregon State Police report released on Monday said shortly after 1:00 p.m. a trooper responded to the wreck on Interstate 5 southbound, approximately a mile north of Curtin. The 63-year-old driver of a sports car showed signs of impairment. He refused all standard field sobriety tests. A search warrant was applied for and granted.

Ultimately, he was charged with driving under the influence of intoxicants and reckless driving. The man was detained without bail and was released on Monday. The sports car was towed from the scene.
