Roseburg Police cited a man Thursday night before arresting him four hours later.

An RPD report said at 8:50 p.m. the 27-year-old was observed dancing with an open beer near the intersection of Northeast Diamond Lake Boulevard and Northeast Rifle Range Road. The man admitted the drink was his and it was poured out. He returned with warrants. He was taken to corrections and began suffering from detoxification symptoms. The man was ultimately transported to CHI Mercy Medical Center by ambulance

At 12:45 a.m. the man was contacted regarding the warrants in the 200 block of Northeast Patterson Street. He was detained without bail.
