The United Community Action Network has activated the Roseburg Warming Center for Saturday night.

It will be held in the gymnasium of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church at 630 West Stanton Street. Check-in and a warm meal will be offered from 7:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Shelter and resources will be provided for the evening. Check-out and coffee will take place Sunday morning from 6:30 a.m. to 8:00 a.m.

UCAN Director of Housing and Community Services Heyleigh Strempel said according to the weather forecast, Friday night does fall within activation thresholds. However, Strempel said both the facility at St. Joseph’s and the backup location at the HADCO James. D. Myer Activity Center are unavailable on Friday.
