ROSEBURG POLICE JAIL MAN FOR REPORTED CRIMINAL MISCHIEF

Roseburg Police jailed a man for reported criminal mischief on Sunday afternoon.

An RPD report said just after 4:30 p.m. officers responded after a man was called in for walking outside property in the 1600 block of Northeast Stephens Street and kicking a vehicle twice, causing damage. Officers reviewed the security footage at the location and identified the suspect as a 45-year-old. Officers later interviewed the suspect, who admitted to causing the damage.

The man was charged with second-degree criminal mischief. Bail on the charge was set at $6,250.
