January 19, 2026 3:50 a.m.

An Air Stagnation Advisory continues through 4:00 p.m. Wednesday within the valleys of Douglas County.

Forecasters at the National Weather Service in Medford said poor air quality will continue. This is due to an inversion and stagnant air conditions near the surface that will continue to trap pollutants.

Air quality that is unhealthy for sensitive groups may develop. Those with respiratory illness should follow their physician’s advice for dealing with high levels of air pollution during periods of stagnant air.
