Roseburg Police cited a man for a criminal count of prohibited camping on Tuesday.

An RPD report said at 12:30 p.m. the 58-year-old was contacted because he was camping in a restricted area and outside the allowed time. His camp was on the bike path in Gaddis Park in the 800 block of Northwest Highland Street. He was also cited for possession of a restricted tool in the park. The man was released after the citations were issued.
