Roseburg Police jailed a woman following a harassment incident early Sunday. morning.
An RPD report said at 3:20 a.m. officers responded to the parking lot of a store in the 2700 block of Northwest Stewart Parkway after an employee said a woman had been standing outside of his parked vehicle while he was inside of it and was banging on the vehicle’s windows and screaming, preventing him from going to work.
Officers arrived on the scene and contacted 43-year-old Adrianne Leffler while she was sitting outside of the business. The store’s assistant manager requested that Leffler leave the property, which she refused to do. While the woman was on the store’s property, she defecated and vomited on the ground next to where she was sitting. When officers were speaking with Leffler, she allegedly began to scoop up handfuls of her own vomit and began smearing it on herself. Once officers attempted to detain the woman, she reportedly grabbed a handful of her own vomit off the ground and threw it onto officers. As officers were detaining Leffler, she allegedly actively fought with them, using physical force to prevent being taken into custody.
The woman was ultimately detained and transported to corrections. She was charged with aggravated harassment, resisting arrest, second-degree criminal trespass, and third-degree criminal mischief. Leffler was detained without bail.
