A Medford woman was taken to the hospital following a single-vehicle crash in the rain on Wednesday afternoon.

An Oregon State Police report said just after 4:50 p.m. a trooper responded to the wreck on Interstate 5 northbound near the Clarks Branch Road interchange. The operator of a sedan lost control of the vehicle due to wet road conditions. The car came to an uncontrolled stop in the left-hand lane after striking the concrete median barrier.

The woman was transported to CHI Mercy Medical Center by ambulance for non-life- threatening injuries. The sedan was towed from the scene.
