The 2026 Roseburg Recreation Guide is now available online, full of information on programs, events and local organizations offering activities designed to get residents out of the house this winter and throughout the year.
A city release said Roseburg Parks and Recreation staff produce the colorful digital guide each year to introduce residents to the range of sports and fitness programs, special events, hobby groups and other fun offered locally.
Parks and Recreations Coordinator Tracy David said, “We’re happy to offer this recreation guide for the residents of Roseburg”. David said, “But this is by no means a complete list. If your run a local club or recreation program, or know of someone who does, we encourage you to reach out to us to be included in this guide”.
Inside the 37-page guide, residents can find a comprehensive list of more than 100 recreation providers, artists’ guilds and clubs – from beekeeping, bicycling and amateur radio to hiking, weaving and stargazing.
Plus learn about Parks and Rec-sponsored activities coming up this winter, spring and summer- starting with the Discover Roseburg 15/Land of Umpqua Geocache Series kick-off event planned for Saturday, February 7th, and low-impact fitness classes offered twice-weekly year-round.
The guide also provides information about the free city-sponsored “Movies in the Park”, plus sports and fitness programs including women’s golf, yoga, and Zumba that will be offered this summer in Stewart Park.
