Roseburg Police jailed a man for a restraining order violation on Monday night.

Officers confirmed that the suspect was not supposed to have contact with the protected person in that manner.

The man later admitted to sending messages to a third party in order to contact the victim. He was later placed into custody. Bail was set at $5,000.
