WINTER STORM WARNING 1:00 P.M. WEDNESDAY TO 10:00 A.M. THURSDAY ABOVE 2,000 FEET

A Winter Storm Warning remains in effect from 1:00 p.m. Wednesday to 10:00 a.m. Thursday for the eastern Douglas County foothills including Toketee Falls.

Forecasters at the National Weather Service in Medford said heavy snow is expected above 2,000 feet. Total snow accumulations of 1 to 6 inches at elevations between 2,000 and 3,000 feet, including portions of Highway 138E east of Steamboat. Also, 6 to 14 inches at elevations above 3,000 feet, including the back country. Winds gusting as high as 35 miles per hour over high and exposed terrain.
