Roseburg Disposal is continuing its Christmas tree recycling program through next Monday, January 12th.
Free Christmas tree drop-off boxes are at several locations throughout the community. The Douglas County Landfill is partnering with the company to provide free disposal of the collected trees.
Christmas trees can be dropped off at:
*Legion Field on Northwest Stewart Parkway
*Northwest Kline Street in front of Hucrest Elementary School
*The corner of Northwest Calkins Road and Northwest Cherry Street
*Totem Market, on Northeast Stephens Street in Winchester
*Sherm’s Thunderbird parking lot of Northwest Stewart Parkway
*The corner of Northeast Fulton Street and Northeast Diamond Lake Boulevard
*Bobalou Billiards on Northeast Stephens Street
*Southeast Rose Street near the former Safeway property
*Redeemer’s Fellowship cinema parking lot in the 3000 block of West Harvard Avenue.
Only natural Christmas trees are accepted. Items not accepted include:
*Ornaments
*Lights
*Tinsel or flocked trees
*Plastic bags
*Tree stands
*Pet waste or any other garbage
