Roseburg Police jailed a man for a warrant and a weapon charged on Thursday.

An RPD report said at 4:20 p.m. officers contacted the 60-year-old underneath the Stewart Park Pavilion in the 2000 block of Northwest Stewart Park Drive, because his camp was in violation of the city’s camping ordinance.

Dispatch informed officers that the man had a warrant for his arrest and he was detained without issue. After being taken into custody, the man was reportedly found to be in possession of stars and brass knuckles. He did not have a concealed carry permit.

The man was charged with the warrant and for carrying a concealed weapon. Bail was set at $15,000.
