The Umpqua Valley received significantly less rainfall than normal in 2025.

Forecasters at the National Weather Service in Medford told News Radio 93-9 FM and 1240 KQEN that the Roseburg Regional Airport received 24.42 inches of rain from January 1st through December 31st. The normal rainfall amount for the year is 32.07 inches. That means the airport measured 7.65 inches of rain less than normal.

December also had less rain than normal. The airport received 4.77 inches of rain compared to the normal amount of 6.05 inches.
