A Glide man was jailed following an alleged assault incident on Saturday morning.

A Douglas County Sheriff’s Office report said at 7:20 a.m. deputies responded to a home in the 300 block of French Creek Road in the Glide area. 40-year-old Daniel Cox was found hiding in the residence and was eventually detained without incident.

He was charged with fourth-degree assault, harassment, violation of release agreement and parole violation. Cox was detained without bail.

No further details regarding the incident were released by DCSO.
