TRANSIENT JAILED FOR ALLEGED FOR ALLEGED DISORDERLY CONDUCT

A transient was jailed for an alleged disorderly conduct incident on Thursday.

A Douglas County Sheriff’s Office report said just after 8:15 a.m. the 42-year-old was called in for being disorderly in the 200 block of Grant Smith Road in the Green District.

The suspect was located on neighboring property allegedly rummaging through a vehicle. He was taken into custody and was found to have an active warrant for his arrest. The warrant was confirmed and the man was placed into custody.

He was charged with second-degree disorderly conduct. Bail was set at $2,000.
