Troopers with Oregon State Police responded to a two-vehicle crash on Highway 138E on Monday morning

An OSP report said at 8:30 a.m. a vehicle was traveling eastbound in a construction zone approximately three miles west of Glide. One lane was closed and coned off, due to work taking place. The driver of a semi-truck working in the construction zone made the decision to make a U-turn to pick up another worker in the rear of the construction zone. The driver did not see the other vehicle and turned the truck into the side of it, causing major damage.

The vehicle hit had to be towed away. The semi-truck left under its own power. The driver who caused the wreck was warned for making an unlawful turn.
