Roseburg Police jailed a man for second-degree criminal trespass, and third-degree criminal mischief on Thursday morning.

An RPD report said at 8:15 a.m. the 59-year-old was contacted in the 1300 block of Northeast Stephens Street after a caller said that he was sleeping in front of a business. Before leaving the area, the man reportedly defecated on the sidewalk. Officers learned the man had been trespassed from the property the day before. He was taken into custody without incident.

The man was detained without bail and was released early Monday morning.
