A couple more weather systems moving through the region are expected to bring continued showers in the Umpqua Valley leading up to Christmas Day.

Forecasters at the National Weather Service in Medford told News Radio 93-9 FM and 1240 KQEN that the heaviest rain will likely be Tuesday evening heading into Wednesday.

Forecasters said while some areas further south in Oregon and into northern California may see heavier rain which could lead to travel issues, the Umpqua Valley will generally remain partly cloudy with light rainfall amounts.

Sunday’s high temperature at the Roseburg Regional Airport was 48 degrees, which is equal to the normal temperature for the date. 0.59 inches of rain was recorded.
