ODOT crews have cleared the way for travelers on Highway 138 East after downed trees and other storm debris forced a closure early Wednesday.
The highway was closed around 4 a.m. and remained closed until about 12:20 p.m. A portion of Highway 230 from the Highway 138 Diamond Lake Junction to Union was also closed due to debris on the road, but it has reopened as well.
Officials urge travelers to use caution if traveling through the area as downed trees and other debris remain potential hazards while storms continue throughout the week. ODOT encourages everyone to be prepared for the possibility of delays and closures.
