A Douglas County business supporting local entrepreneurs was one of 42 recipients of grant funding distributed by the Oregon Community Foundation this month.
The CCD Business Development Corporation in Roseburg received a $20,000 grant through the Oregon Community Foundation’s Thriving Entrepreneurs program. The money will support rural Oregon entrepreneurs, according to a release.
The Thriving Entrepreneurs program handed out over $900,000 in grant funds this year to organizations all across the state. Overall, the program says it has awarded just over $3.5 million to nonprofit organizations that support entrepreneurs of all ages with capital, connections, curriculum, coaching and more.
The CCD Business Development Corporation in Roseburg offers numerous services to small businesses in Coos, Curry and Douglas County.
