Two people were taken to the hospital following a three-vehicle crash in Green on Wednesday afternoon.

An Oregon State Police report said at 4:25 p.m. troopers responded to the wreck on Highway 42 near Carnes Road. A sedan rear-ended a pickup that was stopped due to traffic being stopped at the intersection. The pickup then rear-ended a second sedan.

The drivers of both sedans were transported to CHI Mercy Medical Center by ambulance for non-life-threatening injuries. One of the sedans had to be towed from the scene.

The report does not indicate if any citations were issued in the case.
