A Wolf Creek woman was jailed on 56 charges after a search warrant was served on Wednesday morning.

A Douglas County Sheriff’s Office report said at 7:15 a.m. 27-year-old Promise Phelps was contacted at a residence in the 100 block of Section Road in the Glendale area. Limited information from DCSO said the warrant was served for one current case while Phelps was interviewed on a separate burglary case from September.

She was charged with 45 counts of first-degree theft, first-degree counts of burglary, aggravated theft and criminal mischief and Conspiracy to Commit Class a B felony, a Class C Felony and a Class A misdemeanor. Bail was set at $31,250.

No further information was released by DCSO.
